On a perfectly sunny fall day (because we rescheduled, lol) I met up with Stephanie, Nicholas and their adorable Bernese Mountain Dog, Benson, for their engagement session. I’m loving all these couples bringing their doggos to sessions. Benson was the goodest boy right from the start. The first photo in this post was one of the first images I took during this shoot! Very good, very good. Believe it or not, Benson is technically still a puppy in these photos! He just turned one a few weeks ago!
Stephanie & Nicholas met at the hospital they were both working at 4 years ago. Stephanie is currently going to school to be a nurse practitioner, while Nicholas is a security guard. Nicholas’s uncle made a wooden pineapple for Stephanie because she’s obsessed with pineapples. She even has a pineapple tattoo! Nicholas decided to use the wooden pineapple in his proposal plan, but not in the nicest way. They were at home and he told Stephanie that Benson broke the wooden pineapple! Of course he didn’t though, I already told you he is a very good boy, he would never. Instead, when Stephanie went in to see the damage, the engagement ring was on the pineapple. She said yes! She was totally surprised, she was actually expecting him to propose on their upcoming trip to California if anything.
These two cuties are getting married at the Red Barn at Outlook Farm, Fall 2021, which means I have to wait forever for their wedding day! Nicholas works really late though and Stephanie is non stop studying, so for them the more time to plan a wedding the better. Since it’s in the fall there are no pineapples allowed in their wedding decor apparently, haha. I think they should at least have a pineapple cocktail though!
Stephanie & I chatted like old friends when we first met and their engagement session was so much fun. I’m really looking (way) forward to their wedding day and I kindddd of hope Benson makes an appearance 🙂
