Last week I got to hang out with this fabulous girl, Katharine. Katharine is a senior at St. Anslem college and she’s starting her own design business when she graduates. I got to work with her on some headshots for her future brand and website that she’s building. Katharine is a huge sports fan and loves to ski, though she’s recovering from an injury right now. She’s done lots of video and design work for her college football team, so she’s planning to start there for her future biz.
We began our session at Apotheca Flowers in Goffstown, NH. I’ve been dying to go there and it did not disappoint. We didn’t really have much luck finding a free table to shoot at (Katharine asked a nice couple for their table for 5 minutes to get a few shots, HA) but the shop was super cute! I must go back! They also have a cute flowery mural wall in the back that we were able to use.
Then we headed to St. Anslem for some football photos! They have a really nice stadium and the bleachers were empty so we got a bunch up there. The lacrosse team was practicing, not the football team, but I don’t think you can tell, haha. We also lucked out and found a nice white wall at the college. I LOVE a white wall for portraits 🙂
Our last stop was downtown Manchester, NH. Katharine wanted some shots that represented her personality a bit more. We walked along the street and of course got cat called and whistled at…..cooooool, lol. And I found ANOTHER WHITE WALL! If it wasn’t right at a busy intersection in Manchester it would be a perfect spot.
I had the best time with Katharine, she’s super cool, kind and down to earth. I hope she’s super successful with her business, I can’t wait to see what she does! She JUST made an Instagram account, but you should give her a follow here!
