Daelynne & Tyler’s Lake Winnipesaukee Wedding was a perfect summer day. It all started at Church Landing in Meredith New Hampshire, where Daelynne’s parents actually got married! The whole wedding party was getting ready for the wedding there, so we popped into Daelynne’s room to say hi and grab her details and get to work. She had an absolutely beautiful invitation suite that went perfectly with her mauve & gray color palette.
Tyler and the guys were hanging out together downstairs, apparently dressed and ready for hours while the girls were still lounging around in their cute robes, HA! Smart move though on Daelynne’s part. Better for the guys to be dressed and ready than having them be late 🙂 Best moment with the guys was when I brought up the boutonnières. Tyler remembered them being brought to the room but wasn’t sure where they were. After a short panic, Alyssa found them in the box at the trash can with trash on them. Classic guy move.
Back upstairs, the girls were getting their hair and makeup done in a big suite with a balcony overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. Mae from Shh. It’s a Salon did an amazing job on everyone’s makeup, while Daelynne’s best friend Spencer did everyone’s hair. He did a gorgeous up do on Daelynne, just like he did for her trial that she wore for their engagement session. Once he was done he had to get dressed himself because he was also in the wedding party!!
Daelynne’s mom helped get her into her dress and put her jewelry on in a sweet teary-eyed moment before bringing her outside for the first look. Have I told you that I LOVE First Looks? Well, I do. They’re one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. We found a cute little bridge spot to place Tyler while he waited for Daelynne. There were a few hotel guests hanging out there by the lake watching. They enjoyed it and one lady even gave Daelynne’s mom some tissues from her bag for her tears. And for Tyler’s forehead, hahaha.
Family photos, wedding party photos and off to The Chase House for the ceremony! It was short and sweet and under a cute white tent outside overlooking the lake. Daelynne’s dad walked her down the aisle to Tyler and her grandmother officiated! Seeing her reaction to Daelynne walking down the aisle was just as sweet as Tyler’s.
Their reception was a blast, from introductions to dance party. Tyler’s brother gave a nice toast about going from fighting brothers to really close friends and all the nice things were said about Daelynne. Their wedding cake was so pretty and had a cute topper with a pregnant bride! Incase you missed their engagement/maternity session blog post, they’re expecting a little boy in a few months!!
I ended the evening by sneaking them away for some lake side photos before I left. It was too bright and busy to do them earlier in the day but I had to make sure we got a few!
