Flag Hill Winery Wedding: Amanda & Nate | Lee, NH by Sarah Surette

I’m completely obsessed with Amanda & Nate’s Flag Hill Winery Wedding. Like most 2020 couples, Covid messed with their wedding plans. Their originally planned date was in June, which they moved to August. Flag Hill Winery is in New Hampshire, so they ended up actually being able to have a fairly normal wedding, just with some extra precautions.

We started out in Portsmouth, NH where the girls were all getting ready in a cute downtown Airbnb and the guys in a nearby hotel. The ladies all looked so cute in their matching PJ sets including Amanda & Nate’s daughter Avery. Hers were pink and adorable! And can I just say, Amanda looked amazing. She picked a stunning dress and her hair was in this big thick beautiful braid! Makeup New England did an amazing job!!

Amanda & Nate wanted to have their first look in a nearby park, which I drove Amanda to. It’s not everyday you’ve got the bride in your car! Had to take a selfie, lol. Nate found himself a spot by the water and a whale statue to wait for his bride. She came up behind him and tapped him on his left shoulder and he of course looked to the right like the goof she fell in love with. They had their moment to soak it all in and chat about their mornings.

The rest of the day was at the gorgeous Flag Hill Winery in Lee, New Hampshire. It’s so pretty there! The vineyard is huge and the light pours in perfectly. The tent is amazing and spacious with an awesome dance floor lit up with string lights. All the cute details Amanda planned were perfect, including all the florals from Fifty Flowers. They sent her loose flowers and she arranged them all herself! Including her own bouquet!! I was so impressed!

They had a gorgeous ceremony with sweet and funny vows, and Avery up there with them for some of it. My favorite part of the whole day though was probably Nate & Avery’s dance together. It was supposed to be after parent dances but she had fallen completely asleep so they did it right after Amanda & Nate’s first dance. She slept through the whole dance and had no idea it was even happening. Nate got teary and everyone was crying, including me. Avery woke up later during the reception though and DJ Dave Riley played 2 songs from Frozen for her and everyone was belting out “Let It Go!” It was amazing! Such a perfect wedding at an awesome venue on a gorgeous summer day!
