These Marblehead engagement photos gave me life! We had a beautiful day in a new location to me that Emma & Basilio chose. It was so gorgeous, I need to go back!

Emma is my sister-in-law’s little sister, so this shoot was a special one, I’ve known her for a very long time now. However, I didn’t really know much about her relationship with Basilio. But when I heard their love story, my heart literally melted.

These two met at work while Emma was an intern. She eventually got hired and they sat across from each other. They always shared that Jim and Pam flirty coworker type of relationship. They started dating but kept their relationship on the down low until Basilio got a new job. Immediately after, Covid hit, causing the two of them to work from home. Luckily for them, Basilio had just finished renovating his house just in time for quarantine, so the two moved in together. They knew they would get married one day and had a long standing joke where they would always say to each other “hey, wanna get married?” as a form of “I love you.” Christmas morning before breakfast, Basilio just casually said it like usual and Emma said yes going along with the joke, but when she turned around he was on one knee and had the ring! And of course she said yes! I told you your heart would melt. I definitely teared up when she told me that story.

I am so lucky to be able to capture the dreamy love between this happy couple! And I cannot wait for their wedding! My cute nieces are going to be in it!!
