Fall wedding at Misselwood Events at Endicott College

Sam and Ed’s fall wedding at Misselwood Events was like a fairytale! This venue is right along the ocean with beautiful, breathtaking views. The weather was wild, but ended up working out in their favor for an outdoor ceremony and tented reception!

Their Love Story

This adorable couple met through mutual friends. It is as if their relationship was always meant to be! Ed went to Salem State and Samantha is from Swampscott. When Sam eventually moved to East Boston, Ed got a job in Revere shortly after and moved in even though they had just started dating at the time. They have been together for four years now and have an Australian Shepard/border collie mixed dog named Sox!

Ed asked Sam to marry him at Long Beach in York, Maine. Sam’s friends took her to get a ring size even though she never wears jewelry, so she kind of had an idea it was coming! He had her friends at the beach though to take photos when he proposed. I had a feeling York was special to them when during our first Zoom consultation they were both wearing York sweatshirts.

Stunning Floral Design for Misselwood Events Wedding

The wedding day started out super rainy and gray. Sam and her bridesmaids got ready in the Misselwood house and despite the rain outside they were stress-free, blasting music, and having a great time! When the sun came out it was humid and hot, an unexpected occurrence for a fall New England wedding, but we were thrilled that it cleared up just in time for Sam and Ed’s first look.

The floral design by Blush and Bloom was absolutely stunning! The autumn color palette was perfect with Sam’s dress – a long-sleeved love story Taylor Swift-style princess dress. Her bridesmaids all wore mismatched dresses in the color “spice” so it all tied together perfectly for a fall wedding.

The couple paid close attention to detail to make their wedding personal and unique to them. They had a pillow with Sox’s face (since he couldn’t be there), had some McDonald’s fries delivered, and Sam walked down the aisle to the instrumental version of “Love Story” by Taylor Swift. Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
