Crysta and Ben couldn’t have asked for a better fall day for their engagement session at Rock Meadow Conservation in Belmont, MA.
This adorable couple met at UNH, Crysta was a senior, and Ben was a junior. Ben is a drummer in a band and he played on a booze cruise in Portsmouth, NH. Crysta happened to be there with her friends and that’s when they met! They have been together ever since and Ben proposed in Portsmouth, NH this past Aug 2022.
Light & Airy Couple Photography at Rock Meadow
This warm fall day was a photographer’s dream! There was great lighting and the Rock Meadow Conservation Area was absolutely beautiful. Crysta was joking that she was the nervous one for the shoot, even more than Ben! Ben is in a band so he’s had his share of photoshoots and was comfortable in front of the camera, but I think they both nailed it!
As we wandered along the various trails and into the fields they were playful and sweet with each other. I love that they included their pup, Jules, named after Julian Edelman! Crysta’s sister walked around with Jules while we took photos without him and he cried most of the time. He just loves his Pawrents and wanted to be a part of the fun!
New England Fall Engagement Photos
Crysta and Ben started the session with more casual fall outfits. Once the sun started to set and got really glowy, Crysta put on that ruffle white dress and a jean jacket. It looked so stunning on her and complimented Ben’s white shirt! When we were almost done I showed them the back of my camera and Crysta screamed: “OH MY GOD BEN WE LOOK, LIKE MODELS!” That’s what I like to hear!
Crysta and Ben are getting married Aug 2023 at their family’s private residence on Cape Cod and I’m so excited to be a part of their big day!
