Kate and Anthony’s Stunning Wedding at Indian Pond Country Club

Kate and Anthony’s wedding at Indian Pond Country Club in Plymouth, MA, was nothing short of magical. Their day was filled with laughter, love, and the most breathtaking details that truly showcased their personalities. As a Massachusetts wedding photographer, it’s always a treat to document love stories, but this one was extra special. From heartfelt moments to hilarious surprises, their day was everything a wedding should be and more.

Getting Ready Moments

Kate started her day at a charming Airbnb in Plymouth. The space was perfect for bridal prep with its white walls and dreamy natural light. Her bridesmaids buzzed with excitement as they got ready, sharing stories and sipping mimosas. Of course, we couldn’t miss the iconic champagne-popping photos! We set up on the porch to keep the living room safe from sticky champagne spray. When Kate popped the cork, it didn’t quite explode as expected. After a little coaching, she tried to get the spray going, but she couldn’t quite manage it. Luckily, my assistant Maddie swooped in and saved the day, showing off her champagne-popping expertise.

Meanwhile, Anthony and the groomsmen were having their own fun at a hotel. My second photographer, Rachel, captured the guys’ antics, including some hilarious “goofy bed” photos. The highlight? Anthony opening Kate’s wedding gift: a huge printed canvas of their golden doodle, Mozzie, caught mid-poop in their yard. It was a hysterical and lighthearted surprise, and the guys couldn’t stop laughing.

A Gorgeous Venue for a Gorgeous Bride

Kate slipped into her stunning gown from Thistle Rose Bridal in the bridal suite at Indian Pond Country Club. This suite is hands-down one of the best I’ve seen, with its spacious layout, huge windows, and white walls. It was the perfect setting for her mom and bridesmaids to help her into her dress and veil. Every detail came together beautifully, and Kate looked absolutely radiant.

A First Look to Remember

The first look took place on the lush golf course, a serene and private spot perfect for such an intimate moment. Kate arrived by golf cart, while Anthony waited with Rachel. The look on his face when he turned around was priceless. He was completely blown away by how incredible Kate looked. He couldn’t get over it. You could feel the love and excitement in the air as they shared a quiet moment together before the day’s festivities began.

Thoughtful Details and Unique Touches

Kate and Anthony’s wedding was filled with thoughtful and personal details that made their day truly one-of-a-kind. One of my favorite elements was the seating chart: a wall of custom sugar cookies decorated with their dog Mozzie’s adorable face. To top it off, there was a big cardboard cutout of Mozzie nearby, which was a huge hit with the guests.

The reception décor, designed by Sunday Social Events, was absolutely breathtaking. The combination of gold chairs, blue and green linens with subtle patterns, and various floral centerpieces created an elegant yet inviting atmosphere. Candles added a warm, romantic glow to the room. Jen from Sunday Social Events is truly a magician, everything looked flawless and cohesive.

A Windy Ceremony with a Picture-Perfect Ending

The couple’s outdoor ceremony was set against the backdrop of Indian Pond Country Club’s beautiful grounds. The floral arch by The Wandering Florist added a touch of romance, even after a gust of wind tried to knock it over! The florist quickly adjusted it, and it looked amazing.

One of the most memorable moments was at the end of the ceremony when Anthony dipped Kate at the end of the aisle. It was such a picture-perfect moment that felt straight out of a movie. Afterward, we captured a giant group photo from the venue’s balcony, which was made possible by the spacious layout and staircases on either side. It was a great way to include everyone in a fun, memorable shot.

A Celebration to Remember

The reception was an absolute blast, thanks in part to the incredible energy of the band, Kahootz Entertainment. They kept the dance floor packed all night long, and their performance added so much life to the celebration. Kate and Anthony’s first dance to “Love You Like I Used To” by Russell Dickerson was both romantic and heartfelt. You could see the way they looked at each other that this was the start of forever.

A Love Story for the Ages

Kate and Anthony’s love story began five years ago when they met at Trillium Brewery in Canton, MA, one of Kate’s favorite spots. She misses the old location, but it’s safe to say that brewery holds a special place in her heart. Anthony proposed on December 30th at their family’s lake house, making the moment even more special with a sunny 60-degree day in the middle of winter. Kate somehow resisted the urge to peek at the ring box in his bag, even though she knew it was coming since they picked out the diamond together. When she turned around after saying yes, her whole family was watching from the house, and her mom held a big sign that read, “Say Yes!” It was such a sweet moment.

Final Thoughts

Kate and Anthony’s wedding was the perfect blend of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. From the heartfelt first look to the lively reception, their day was a true reflection of their relationship and the life they’ve built together. I feel so honored to have been a part of their special day and to have captured memories they’ll cherish forever.
