Westford Senior Photos: Aubrie

Aubrie’s Gorgeous Senior Session at The Acton Arboretum and Mattison Field

Aubrie’s senior session at The Acton Arboretum and Mattison Field was nothing short of magical. With her effortless style, radiant personality, and the natural beauty of these locations, the photos turned out absolutely stunning. The overcast day brought a soft, even light that made every image feel dreamy and timeless. This was my second time photographing Aubrie, and it was such a joy to reconnect with her and her wonderful family.

A Familiar Face and a Special Connection

I first met Aubrie when I photographed her older sister Mia’s senior photos a few years ago. Mia’s session was a favorite of mine, so I was thrilled when Aubrie’s mom reached out to book her session. It was great to catch up with her mom again, and I loved how warm and supportive the entire family is. Knowing this family’s dynamic and seeing how much they value capturing memories together made this session even more special.

A Girly and Effortless Wardrobe

Aubrie’s style is so effortlessly feminine, and her outfit choices perfectly reflected her personality. She started the session in a short, pale yellow sundress that looked amazing against the lush greenery of The Acton Arboretum. For her second outfit, she switched into white jeans paired with a pale green top featuring lace and ruffled sleeves, a casual yet elegant look that worked beautifully in the natural setting. Her final outfit was a long, light purple dress with puff sleeves. It was so girly and cute, and the color suited her perfectly.

We made sure to get a variety of looks with her hair both up and down. While Aubrie prefers wearing her hair down, her mom really wanted a few photos with it styled up, and I’m so glad we did. The shots of her in the purple dress with her hair up are some of my absolute favorites.

Why Aubrie Chose The Acton Arboretum and Mattison Field

Aubrie wanted a location that was different from where Mia had her senior session, and The Acton Arboretum and Mattison Field were the perfect choices. The arboretum’s winding paths, blooming flowers, and lush greenery provided so many beautiful backdrops. Mattison Field, with its wide-open spaces and golden grasses, offered a lovely contrast to the more structured beauty of the arboretum. Together, these two locations gave us a diverse range of settings that perfectly complemented Aubrie’s bright and joyful personality.

Aubrie’s Interests and Personality Shine Through

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is getting to know each senior and capturing what makes them unique. Aubrie is such a fun and multi-talented individual. She’s obsessed with açaí bowls, sundresses, and rom-coms (a girl after my own heart!). She’s also incredibly creative and passionate about theater. At Westford Academy, she played Delphi Diggory in their production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It’s a major role with a huge twist, and Aubrie absolutely crushed it. Her performance was so impressive, and I still laugh when I think about her parents walking into the theater carrying a giant cardboard cutout of her face to cheer her on. Talk about supportive!

Aubrie’s love for puzzles, driving around with friends, and just letting life unfold are all part of her laid-back and joyful spirit. She’s not in a rush to figure out her next steps after high school, and I admire her for embracing the journey and living in the moment.

A Perfectly Overcast Day

Overcast days are a photographer’s dream, and Aubrie’s session was no exception. The soft, even lighting brought out all the natural colors in the scenery and made Aubrie’s skin glow. Plus, it allowed us to shoot in any direction without worrying about harsh shadows or squinting. The cloudy skies added a calm, peaceful vibe to the photos, which matched Aubrie’s personality perfectly.

Why Westford Senior Photos Are So Important

Senior photos are more than just pictures—they’re a celebration of who you are and everything you’ve accomplished. For Aubrie, these photos are a reflection of her creativity, kindness, and adventurous spirit. They’re a reminder of all the memories she’s made at Westford Academy and the exciting future ahead of her.

If you’re searching for a Westford photographer who specializes in bright, airy, and joyful senior photos, I would love to work with you. Aubrie’s session is a perfect example of how senior photos can be both meaningful and fun, showcasing your personality in a way that feels authentic and natural.

Looking Ahead

Aubrie, thank you for trusting me to capture this special time in your life. You’re absolutely gorgeous inside and out, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do in the future. Whether you’re driving around with friends, diving into a new puzzle, or starring in your next theater production, I know you’ll do it with the same joy and passion that made this session so memorable.
