My photographer friend over at Cara Parker Photography, reached out to me and a few other photographers about a little styled shoot she had been wanting to put on. I love a good styled shoot, especially in winter when work is slow, and ESPECIALLY when I’m not the one putting it together, hahaha. Actually, I did contribute a dress and some nail art.
Cara’s plan started as a Snow/Ice Queen shoot, assuming we’d have some snow. We didn’t, of course. And we do now, of course! Gotta love New England. Though it did end up sprinkling snow the teeniest bit at the end. Cara had a few high-schoolers that were excited to model for us, and an old high school student, Liza, who is an amazing makeup artist. Liza brought more high-schoolers to help her out with base foundation and basic eye-makeup, someone offered to make a cake, cupcakes, we were offered flowers and the whole simple shoot snowballed into two shoots! So we ended up starting out with a styled Bridesmaid shoot with the girls.
So this post is dedicated to the Bridesmaid shoot! Ice Queen post to come.
Sarah, Liv & Trinity may be a little young to pass off as bridesmaids, but I think they nailed it. They’re so stinking cute! And did I mention they didn’t even know each other before this shoot? They practically look like besties here.
