Kristen & Kevin’s Rock Meadow Engagement Session was so glowy and perfect! They are the sweetest and their pup is the cutest! I knew they got a Boston Terrier puppy after seeing Kristen’s Instagram story and I was sort of hoping that just maybe they would bring her to their upcoming engagement session. Sure enough a few hours before their session, Kristen texted me asking if it was ok if Maggie could join. DUH!! Gahh she’s so cute. Bottom line, there are lots of Maggie pictures in here. Also I just love when Bostonians own Boston Terriers.

These two met in college over 3 years ago and are runners. They both ran the 2019 Boston Marathon! Impressive. I like running, but not that much…this was actually Kristen’s second time running Boston. The February before the Marathon, they were of course training since it’s in April. They were going for a 15 mile run in Scituate when Kevin led them off route a little bit towards the lighthouse. Kristen was a little thrown off but it all made sense when Kevin unexpectedly got down on one knee and proposed to her!! He even had his friends hiding in the bushes to capture the whole thing! Honestly, what great friends. I can’t imagine waiting in bushes in February in a coastal Massachusetts town. I’m cold just thinking about it.

I better start warming up though, they’re getting married in Gloucester in March of next year. And beach photos are a must! In fact Kevin is convinced they’ll be having the ceremony outside with heat lamps. We shall see! Keep your fingers crossed for us for an unseasonably gorgeous March day. And big shout out to Lauren Dobish for sending them my way! She’s in the wedding so she gets to be on the other side of the camera this time 🙂 And she warmed them up for their engagement session with me. They did one with her since her and Kristen are BFFs and then they HAD to have a puppy shoot. So this was their THIRD photo shoot in a year! Kevin is such a trooper! HA!
