I was so honored to capture Emily and Carmelo’s engagement photos at World’s End in Hingham, MA. This adorable, fun-loving couple was such a pleasure to photograph!
Emily and Carmelo met while working at a restaurant together. Carmelo was bartending and Emily was waitressing and they have been together ever since. They had their first date at Lolita’s in Boston’s Seaport, so Carmelo decided to propose there a few years later and even had his friend take photos as a surprise.
Boston Area Engagement Photo Location – World’s End
If you live in the Boston area and have never visited World’s End – I highly recommend it! This peninsula has 251 acres of conservation land with views of the Boston skyline, Weir river, and Hingham Harbor. While this park does require a photography permit, it is well worth it to be able to enjoy the beautiful landscape and walking trails.
We wandered around different areas of the park to first capture some more casual photos of them together in jeans and a t-shirt before they changed into a more formal outfit. They chose a blue color scheme that looked stunning against the coastal backdrop and bright green seagrass.
Champagne Toast Engagement Pictures
Carmelo loves to share his bartending skills and cocktails on Instagram (be sure to check it out @drinkswithmelo), so it was totally fitting that they brought a bottle of champagne to their engagement session! We took some picnic blanket photos as they popped the champagne, and then they let their real personalities shine! I loved capturing them playing around and drinking straight from the bottle and drinking from each other’s glasses. The champagne bottle made for a great prop when we did the “drunk walk” pose too.
I can’t wait for their wedding this year at the White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth, MA!
