specializing in bright and airy photography, I've had the pleasure of capturing love stories at some of the region's most stunning venues. Each offers unique charm, abundant natural light, and picturesque settings perfect for drool-worthy wedding photos. Below are some of my top venue recommendations:
As a New England Wedding Photographer
The Greenery at McKenzie’s Farm is a dream venue for couples who love bright, airy, nature-inspired wedding photography. The property is surrounded by open fields, greenery, and soft rolling landscapes that photograph beautifully in natural light. The ceremony spaces feel open and organic, allowing light to flow freely without harsh shadows. Neutral tones, wood textures, and greenery create a clean backdrop that keeps photos timeless and true to color.
Couples typically book 9–15 months in advance, especially for peak summer and early fall weekends. Most rentals include a full wedding day timeframe, often around 8–10 hours, with flexibility to extend if needed. Total wedding costs tend to fall in the moderate to upper-mid range, depending on guest count, rentals, and catering choices. Pricing usually includes exclusive use of the venue, ceremony and reception spaces, tables, chairs, and basic setup. Additional fees may include tenting, rentals, staffing, or overtime, depending on your event needs.
The Greenery can accommodate up to approximately 150–200 guests, depending on layout and tenting. The venue offers outdoor ceremony spaces and covered or tented reception options for flexibility. Catering is typically handled by approved or preferred caterers, allowing couples to choose a menu that fits their vision.
Food and beverage minimums depend on the caterer rather than the venue itself. Bar service is coordinated through the caterer, with customizable bar packages available. There are on-site getting-ready spaces that provide soft light and a calm start to the day. A solid rain backup plan is built into the tented layout. Preferred vendors are often recommended but not strictly required. Guests can stay nearby at local inns, hotels, and vacation rentals, making it convenient for out-of-town guests.
