I loved this shoot with the Boston Skyline in the background! I need more skyline shoots in my life. This is Nicole & Steve! They are super adorable and have been dating for 5 years. They met in college through mutual friends and they’ve been together ever since.

Steve had the best idea for an anniversary and birthday gift for Nicole, a photoshoot! She’s always complaining about how they have no nice professional photos of them together. So we met at The Arnold Arboretum in Boston. None of us had ever been before, but I’ve heard great things. I picked a spot that I thought would work and got there a bit early. Sure enough, the spot I wanted was at the top of a huge hill…I had a feeling it was. I hiked all the way to the top, and saw the tiniest puppy. (Most important part of the story obviously) I wish I took a picture of him honestly. ANYWAYS. My butt did not look like Beyoncé’s after the hike up, but the view was worth it.

Luckily, I was able to convince Nicole and Steve to hike to the top of the hill too, even though Nicole had a bit of a heel on her boots. They brought up their little doggo, Lola, too! She’s so stinkin cute even though she barked at us the whole time if she wasn’t in the photos. Bahaha. Can you blame her though? She’s so photogenic! These 3 were super sweet, adorable and funny, I’m so glad I got to photograph them. And I can’t wait to go back to the Arboretum and shoot in the Spring with a city sunset.
