I love love love this lighthouse engagement session I had with Aly & Erik! We met up at the Portland Head Lighthouse since Aly and Erik just moved to Maine this past summer. We figured a coastal backdrop was perfect for their new life together in New England.

Aly and Erik met in Nashville, where Aly is from, and Erik moved there from Chicago for work. They love the outdoors and hiking! Erik actually proposed to Aly in Tennessee while they were staying in a cabin in the woods together. How perfect is that?! Aly has family up here in New England, so it’s not a totally foreign place for them. It’s actually the perfect place to live for avid hikers. They moved up here this past summer soon after getting engaged with all their pets and are getting married in New Hampshire at Wedgewood Granite Rose.

Aly and Erik were an absolute breeze to photograph. It’s clear they love each other, I didn’t even have to tell them to be giggly and cute. They just naturally were! I can’t wait for their wedding day this summer!
