Kendall & Dan's Blissful Meadows Wedding by Sarah Surette Photography

Kendall & Dan’s spring wedding at Blissful Meadows Golf Club landed on the perfect day. After what’s felt like weeks of gray rainy days, we got sunny and 70’s! I couldn’t have been happier!

Dan and Kendall have known each other for a really, really long time. They met in the 5th grade!! They didn’t start dating until much later but I think we could still call them elementary school sweethearts maybe? They have a son named Elias who of course got to be a part of their wedding day in his tiny suit. He’s just about the cutest little boy I’ve ever met. He has the tiniest little voice and kept saying “I see?” every time I took a photo. He also adorably starting cleaning up all the flower petals that the flower girls threw down the aisle after the ceremony ended. Just precious.

Kendall also has a twin sister, Kasey, and I embarrassed myself by confusing them very early on in the day. HA! Thankfully, it didn’t happen again though once Kendall got into her gown. Her sister Kasey has 3 little kiddos and one of them is the same age as Elias, which means Kendall and her twin sister were pregnant at the same time! I think that is so cool, I honestly think twins are so fascinating!

It was pretty fitting that Kendall and Dan’s wedding was during Memorial Day weekend. Dan is a Marine as are most of his groomsmen. They were such a great group of guys. Dan wore a Marine Corp pin that belonged to his grandfather and he had his best man, Dylan, pin it on him. A really special moment for Dan. Kendall had some really lovely Marine Corp details as well. She had her grandfather’s name from his uniform sewed onto the inside of her dress, and had her soon to be last name from Dan’s uniform around her bouquet.

The ceremony was outside since it was so nice out! Kendall walked down the aisle with both of her parents and her son. He hadn’t seen her all day and was so excited when he saw her! He even hung out up at the front and said some gibberish into the microphone during the ceremony. This first image of him clapping and walking down the aisle just kills me. I’m so glad these two tied the knot and get to live happily ever after with their little guy.
