Rachel & John’s Old Stone Church Engagement Session landed on a perfect fall day! I was excited to meet them because Jenny from All Aboard Event Planning sent them my way and Jenny is awesome! So I knew they would be too, but I hadn’t met them before. Turns out, they are awesome! And so cute together.

This couple met a few years ago at Rachel’s sister’s wedding rehearsal dinner! They hit it off and had a blast at the wedding. They spent the next two weeks straight hanging out before he headed back to Maryland where he was living at the time. Cue lots of tears. John is a firefighter, so he moved from New England to Baltimore when he was starting out to get maximum job experience. They both happily live here in Massachusetts now. John also has his own business refurbishing and customizing fire helmets too! So cool!

Rachel is a 5th grade teacher and her family has a place in York, ME, where they like to spend time in the summer. Since it’s such a special place for Rachel, that’s where John decided to propose to her around Christmas time! She had absolutely no idea! She thought they were going to meet up with friends who were running late. So they swung over to the Nubble Lighthouse to “kill some time.” SURPRISE!

These two are getting married next summer at The Barn at Benson’s Pond and I can’t wait to see them again and work with Jenny!
