I was so excited to photograph Amanda, Nate & their daughter Avery’s Rye, NH fall engagement/family session at one of my favorite spots! It also just happened to be the first place Nate ever took Amanda when she visited his family before they moved here. What a perfect coincidence! Last time I shot here was in July, so it was so cool to see the ocean on one side and the fall foliage on the other.

Amanda is originally from Illinois and Nate is from New Hampshire, but they went to college in Arizona and were neighbors. After college Amanda got a job at Boston Beer Company but out in Arizona. They did the long distance thing for a while until Avery! Then Amanda moved up here to New England and now they’re getting married in June!

Obviously we included Avery in their engagement session because why not?! She’s super cute and will be part of their wedding day so she’s got to be comfortable in front of the camera too! She wasn’t super excited about smiling for me though until the end, haha. Hopefully she will in June. Fingers crossed. How cute are these 3 though? The sweetest little fam with perfect style.

Oh and Fun Fact: Amanda met Jonathan Van Ness (one of my favorite people ever!) before he was famous! Her friend knows him and used to come over and do her hair in Arizona! Like, excuse me. So jealous. Hook me up please and thank you.
