Senior Session

WA Senior: Olivia

Olivia is a WA Senior who was so much fun to photograph! We met up at the Arnold Arboretum for the first part of our shoot because Olivia really wanted some flowers in her photos. We finished in Concord at a spot I love to try and get a little bit of that sunset light. We happened to stumble on some hay bales there that we used for a few photos. Those ended up being some of my favorites because you don’t run into hay bales around here too often. We were joking that people are going to think she’s a senior from Iowa or something, hahaha.

She’s involved in the WA Theater Arts, which is so excellent. I remember being in the 8th grade and watching the high school preform Les Misérables and being completely blown away. WA still has the same director and they always put on amazing shows. So naturally Olivia is loving Hamilton right now, like everyone else. I was curious if they were able to do some type of spring performance last year and she said they tried it over Zoom. Not quite the same but better than nothing I guess. I hope she can get back to performing for real soon, if not in High School then in college.

I’m always curious about people’s celeb crushes because I have quite a few, haha. No one has ever asked me mine during a session though until this one. Olivia’s mom actually asked me! I was cracking up because we both love Tom Holland. Olivia also loves Harry Styles, because duh. She’s been dipping into the 1D catalog lately for some nostalgic bops. I can’t really blame her, What Makes You Beautiful gets me every time.

Oh did I mention she’s also a dancer and a soccer player? If you notice her soccer jacket, it says Captain. Yea. This girl. What can’t this WA Senior do?
