I’m so happy I got to photograph Shannon & Shaun’s Westford Wedding. Not only because it was in my hometown, but because they are so cute and clearly obsessed with each other! When a couple can’t keep their hands off one another photos are a piece of cake. Shaun even said “I do” too soon and couldn’t help but kiss Shannon before he was supposed to during their intimate backyard ceremony. It was SO CUTE and everyone cracked up.

Another thing I love about these two is that they met through a Matchmaker! An actual human matchmaker in 2018. Not a dating app or a matchmaker app. Who does that?? These two awesome people! And hey it worked. I guess that matchmaker is pretty good.

Shannon & Shaun recently bought a house together in Westford so they decided to have a small wedding in their new backyard instead of Pennsylvania like they originally planned. They were very good about Covid restrictions and had roped off sections of their yard for each side of the family. They had a violinist playing music for the ceremony and bright, colorful florals. My favorite touch was the giant cardboard cutout heads that their family brought for some funny photos. Since they got married at home we got to snap a portrait with their adorable dog as well! Then we headed off to a nearby field for some cute portraits of just the two of them before they met up with their family for dinner. I’m so glad I got to capture their wedding day!
