This Charlestown Navy Yard Engagement Session was amazing! Jessica and William moved in together in Charlestown Massachusetts right before Covid started. They’ve only been together for a couple years but living together through Covid made them realize just how compatible they are! We decided Charlestown was a perfect spot for their engagement session for that reason. You know, plus the awesome city views. The best part was, they live right there so they were able to just pop into their apartment for their outfit change! We started in the park area, walked over to the Commandant’s House and then ended their session on the pier for sunset!
If you know anything about me, you know I love Bar Harbor, Maine! I go almost every year, so when these two told me their proposal story, I just knew we were a good match! The first friend William made when he moved here from England has a house in Bar Harbor. He let them stay there, so William used their trip as an opportunity to propose. They had been ring shopping but she didn’t know when he was going to ask. He managed to convince Jessica to do a sunrise drive up Cadillac Mountain even though she’s not a morning person (same). They got a perfect sunrise and she said yes!
They actually just got married last weekend at Hammond Castle and I cannot wait to blog that once I’m done editing!
