I am honestly still not over Sarah and Preston’s engagement session in Portsmouth, NH. We met up at the beautiful Prescott Park which sits right along the edge of the Piscataqua River. They had on fabulous outfits, the flowers were in full bloom and the light was unreal! It was the prettiest backdrop for a stunning couple!
Their Love Story
Preston and Sarah are a COVID couple. Just one week before lockdown in March of 2020, Sarah attended a speed dating event. Let’s just say it didn’t go well, and she was in need of a strong drink after the event. Her friend invited her to come meet up with her at the bar and wanted to introduce her to her co-worker, Preston. She headed there with zero interest in connecting with anyone but she totally hit it off with her 11th date of the night!
They got in one real date before the lockdown and spent the rest of their “dates” at Preston’s apartment cooking, watching movies, and just being together. They were pregnant by January 2021, engaged in July 2021, and had their beautiful daughter in August 2021. Now that they’ve survived the first year as parents, it’s time to plan the wedding! They both work in cybersecurity, have a dog named Carlos, and just bought a home in New Hampshire.
Engagement Session in Portsmouth, NH
Prescott Park is absolutely beautiful in the summer! The flower gardens and grounds are in full bloom and truly stunning! Preston chose to propose here while Sarah was pregnant, so we obviously had to reenact the proposal in their spot before moving on to another garden.
Next, we headed towards the water and captured some classic Portsmouth shots with the bridge in the background. That golden hour light really kicked in while they were out on the pier and it was beautiful!! I love how their engagement session turned out and I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding!
