As a Massachusetts senior photographer, I have the privilege of working with some of the most inspiring and talented high school seniors in the area. It’s always a joy to get to know each one of my clients, and when Eva—an energetic and passionate senior from Wellesley High School—reached out to me for her senior session, I knew it would be a shoot full of fun, creativity, and memorable moments.
We decided to do her senior photoshoot at The Garden at Elm Bank, a stunning 36-acre horticultural oasis located in Wellesley, Massachusetts. This beautiful location is the perfect backdrop for senior photos, offering a blend of traditional and modern gardens, breathtaking landscapes, and a peaceful atmosphere. It truly is a photographer’s dream!

Why The Garden at Elm Bank is the Perfect Spot for Senior Photos
Choosing the right location for your senior photos is such an important decision, and I love helping my clients pick a spot that matches their personality and interests. When Eva’s mom mentioned The Garden at Elm Bank in Wellesley I was so excited. With its expansive grounds and diverse gardens, it offers so much variety for photos and it was a place I had been wanting to have a session in for a while now. They do require a fee to have a photoshoot there though and your time slot has to be booked ahead of time.
The lush gardens provide a vibrant yet tranquil backdrop that works beautifully for my bright and airy photography style. From the golden hour sunlight filtering through the trees to the stunning blooms in every corner, every shot was a perfect reflection of Eva’s bright and bubbly personality.
Eva: A Senior Who Does It All
When it comes to capturing senior portraits, I love to learn about my clients outside of school—what they’re passionate about and what they enjoy. Eva is one of those students who genuinely does it all.
Eva is a talented musician, and music plays a huge role in her life. As the music leader of her a cappella group and a member of the select jazz choir at Wellesley High School, Eva is no stranger to the spotlight. She loves to sing, and her leadership in both of these groups is so impressive!
In addition to her musical talents, Eva is also a member of her school’s mock trial team, where she serves as a witness and cross-examining lawyer. It’s clear that she has a passion for debate, law, and critical thinking. If you ever need someone to argue a case or think on their feet, Eva’s your girl!
But that’s not all. Eva is also a performer at heart. She’s involved in improv comedy and is the leader of her school’s improv troupe. Talk about well-rounded! It’s clear from her varied interests that Eva has an outgoing and confident personality, which made for some of the most fun and natural photos during her session.
