Everyone loves a fall engagement session in New England. The crisp air, golden light, and vibrant leaves created the perfect setting to celebrate Noelle Lambert and Mark Beirne’s engagement. With their service dog Ollie in tow, and a bottle of wine, these two brought so much warmth, joy, and laughter to their session.
If you haven’t heard of Noelle Lambert, she is an American Paralympian track and field athlete and a motivational speaker. She is also the founder of The Born to Run Foundation which helps young adults and children get prostheses. She was also a contestant on Survivor 43. She competed in the Tokyo Paralympics and the 2024 Paris Paralympics. She’s friggan awesome!
A Lacrosse Love Story
Both New Hampshire natives, played lacrosse at different colleges—Noelle at UMass Lowell and Mark at SNHU. Despite overlapping social circles, their paths didn’t cross until her younger brother suggested they meet.
During the summer of 2020, their relationship blossomed. With so much uncertainty in the world, Noelle and Mark found comfort and connection in each other, going on outdoor dates and creating memories together. The challenges of the pandemic couldn’t keep them apart.
The Proposal: A Bermuda Surprise
Fast forward a few years, and Mark knew it was time to make things official. During a family cruise to Bermuda, he proposed on the beach, catching Noelle completely off guard. She’d thought he might pop the question a few weeks later during a trip to Gloucester, so she didn’t see the signs.
Autumn Vibes at The General Fields
When it came to planning their engagement session, Noelle and Mark wanted a cozy, autumn feel to contrast with their tropical engagement in Bermuda. Groton, MA offers just that—rolling fields, rustic charm, and the kind of fall colors that make you want to grab a pumpkin spice latte.
Ollie, their sweet service dog, joined in on the fun and was such a well-behaved star of the session. No leash needed!
Looking Ahead to the Big Day
As Noelle and Mark gear up for their wedding at Danversport, there’s so much to look forward to. Noelle’s dad has a big family, so the dance floor is sure to be packed. If their engagement session was any indication, their wedding day will be filled with all the best energy.
Congratulations, Noelle and Mark! I can’t wait to see you tie the knot and celebrate your next chapter surrounded by so much love.
