Sarah & Andy‘s Charter Oak Country Club wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. These two have been together for 9 years and are so cute together. The day started with rain, turned into gorgeously glowy light and ended with a packed dance floor full of family and friends.
Sarah has so many close friends that she had 10 bridesmaids! I’m so impressed by that, it’s tough keeping that many close friendships as an adult. For me at least, anyone else?! Well, 10 bridesmaids means 11 girls getting their hair & makeup done. They were up and getting ready at the hotel really early in the morning and popping champagne before I even had any coffee. (Yea, I was stalking their insta-stories from bed) I got to the Hyatt Hotel in Marlborough a little after noon where the wedding party was getting ready for the day. All the girls were in the best mood in their matching robes while I photographed details, dresses, and hair & makeup. Sarah looked absolutely stunning when she came out in her dress!
Once everyone was looking flawless, we headed to the gorgeous church in Marlborough for the ceremony, followed by the reception at Charter Oak Country Club. The wedding party filed in for some champagne and a bite to eat real quick before starting portraits. The sun was out and glowing just in time. We started with family, then onto bridal party photos before stealing Sarah & Andy away for husband and wife photos. They’re pretty much posing professionals now since they got to practice at their engagement session.
Their cocktail hour included 2 custom bride & groom specialty cocktails for guests that looked delicious. While everyone was mingling and snacking, I snagged some reception detail photos of their gorgeous navy & rose gold decor. I even spotted a few framed photos around the room from their engagement session!
Reception time!! The wedding party was introduced in before Sarah & Andy were announced as Mr & Mrs Kantorski. Followed by their first dance, and some really sweet toasts. Sarah’s matrons of honor both talked about how kind Sarah is, how she always has a jam packed social calendar and how good of a friend she is. Like I said, 10 bridesmaids! But Andy’s brother’s speech was my favorite, I might have teared up a bit. He talked about how much he looked up to his brother growing up, and how he copied everything he did, from playing the same sports to currently dating a girl named Sarah. HA!
From there, the party was on. Great food, pretty cake, upbeat music and dancing the night away.
