Abby & DJ's Spring Tewksbury Country Club Wedding by Sarah Surette

Abby & DJ’s Spring Tewksbury Country Club Wedding was beyond perfection! Here in New England, we have some pretty brutal winters. Spring is officially March 20th, but that doesn’t always mean Mother Nature feels like playing nice. March always feels so hopeful, and then we get a snow storm. In fact last night it was sleeting. But not last Saturday! On March 30th, 2019, we got the most gorgeous, warm day for a wedding!! Abby & DJ had a daytime wedding too so a lot of guests got to mingle outside in the perfect weather.

I started the day at Abby’s parent’s house where she was getting hair & makeup done with her mom & sister. Abby is really fortunate that her mom is a hairdresser, so her mom got to do her daughter’s hair on her wedding day, which I think is really special. I’m sure she’s been thinking about that since Abby was born. She also passed that hair talent onto Abby, she’s incredible at doing hair and did her younger sister (MOH) Emily’s hair that morning.

The ladies all got dressed in the bridal suite at the venue while the guys got their boutonnieres pinned on downstairs in the reception room. DJ was a little teary eyed as Abby walked down the aisle with her dad while a family friend played the harp. So cool! I might have gotten a little teary eyed when Emily & Best Man, Kyle, gave their toasts. Cake was smushed into each other’s faces, kiddos ran around, everybody danced and had a great time. A pretty perfect day 🙂
