Have I ever mentioned that I love the beach? Yeah, probably. And glowy, dreamy light? Yeah, definitely. Well Gina and Steve‘s Ocean Edge Resort Wedding had all that and more! Plus the most perfect shades of blue. AND my brother was in the wedding party! What a day!
Side note: Your brother being in the wedding party isn’t always a plus. I’m waiting in line for Starbucks so I can make it through a whole wedding day and my brother is texting me with a potential suit tie problem. Asking if I can make an extra stop and bring them to the guys…mmmm no broooo, I can’t be late! Luckily they managed to figure it out, thank god, hahaha.
Anyways, Gina and Steve’s wedding was an absolutely gorgeous day. The space Gina got ready in at Ocean Edge was what getting ready space dreams are made of. Neutral, roomy, bright and lots of windows! They had gorgeous beachy details from their invitations to their reception decor. Steve is not one for lots of attention so they did a private first look on the golf course before we headed to the church for the ceremony. Steve totally lit up when he saw Gina for the first time!
I’m honestly still drooling over the beach portraits we got after their ceremony. It was Labor Day weekend so the beach was pretty packed. Everyone was a good sport and trekked a bit far down the beach so I could avoid as much Photoshop later as possible, hahaha. Thanks guys! It was such a fun group to photograph since I knew a few wedding party members. And Gina was absolutely glowing.
Gina & Steve had their first dance under the twinkle string lights to Hard to Concentrate by The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Steve’s favorite. And I think my favorite part was the best man speech. Steve’s little brother, who I hadn’t seen in years, wrote an amazing poem about their whole lives growing up together in Westford, and their friends, and playing Rockband and looking up to Steve. Was I crying? Maybe.
Closing Time brought everyone on the dance floor to end this beautiful wedding day at the beach. Cheers to forever Gina & Steve!
