I’m so thrilled to be sharing this Acton Arboretum Engagement Session with you! Because of Covid 19, I haven’t been able to have a photoshoot since March! Now that the weather is nice and we can socially distant shoot outside, I finally got to photograph Nicole & Steve’s Engagement session. Fun fact, I’ve photographed them before they were engaged!
Nicole and Steve met a little over 6 years ago, set up by friends. They love exploring and a good relaxing beach vacation. And honestly, same. They also have the cutest little dog, Lola. Steve bought Nicole a custom (gorgeous) ring. He proposed on the beach down the Cape on a chilly July day. She had no idea despite almost finding it while doing laundry. Steve’s uncle also almost spilled the beans the day before when he asked her if she was ready to be part of their family. Steve took Nicole for a fairly long walk and happened to stumble on a cute little mound of sand, perfect for a proposal.
We started our session at the Acton Arboretum, which was in full bloom! It was so pretty and matched Nicole’s floral dress perfectly. These two are super silly and cute with each other. Steve spent most of the session making Nicole laugh. And well, me too. We discussed the differences between being drunk in the men’s bathroom vs being drunk in the women’s bathroom, haha. We then headed to a favorite spot of mine 10 minutes away in Concord after wandering around the Arboretum for a while. It’s a beautiful open field and we just had some fun there. And we found out Steve wants to own a farm.
I’m so excited for their spring wedding next year at Riverview in Connecticut with their huge families!
